We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Manager who can provide leadership and direction for our team and critical support to ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues and subcontractors in the Omaha, Lincoln, and Hastings areas. If you have a background as Project Manager, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and staff key field positions for assigned projects
  • Establish project objectives, schedules, and performance standards
  • Oversee construction progress through coordination with on-site Superintendents
  • Monitor and manage financial aspects of contracts, including budgets and cost projections
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, architects, and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations
  • Conduct project inspections and manage quality control programs
  • Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies for addressing project challenges and delays

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management
  • Proven ability to manage projects up to $50 million in size
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of industry practices and regulations, some AutoCAD experience, Bluebeam and ProCore is helpful
  • Experience with estimating commercial construction projects
  • Ability to travel within the Midwest as required and will need to pass background checks for federal projects and some commercial projects

Safety Specialist

We are looking for a Safety Specialist who can provide leadership and direction for our team and critical support to ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues and subcontractors in the Omaha, Lincoln, and Hastings areas. If you have a background in safety, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage time, resource allocation, and provide safety leadership to assigned projects.
  • Assist with daily reporting, safety initiatives, and other tasks associated with safety.
  • Organize and input all testing pertaining to Safety and Audits.
  • Develop training for project site-specific needs to educate project management, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with company policies and Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance working relationships with staff and subcontractor Safety Representatives.
  • Develop and enforce project Safety Program and related policies and procedures.
  • Oversee orientation program for new employees, process, and record participation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Policy Development (Company)
  • Safety Training/Train the Trainer
  • Incident investigation, analyzing workplace accidents, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future incidents. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field of study, and minimum of 2 years of related construction safety experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Completed OSHA 30-hour training.
  • Ability to identify known and potential safety related exposures and lead implementation of corrective actions.
  • Familiar with general construction operations.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation delivery skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking, good judgment, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Travel required, access to reliable transportation required.
